  • Kim on The Moth mainstage, telling a personal story

    The Moth

Kim told part of her story on The Moth in 2011. “A woman confronts her past, and future, when she is forced to make a trip to her hometown,” reads the program. This story precedes the events in her film PRODIGAL SONS.

Kim told the story throughout the U.S. on Moth Mainstages, and it was featured in their first book — The Moth: 50 True Stories (Hachette), a New York Times bestseller.

    HHS Commencement Speech

In 2015, Kim was invited by a committee of student leaders and teachers to give the keynote Commencement Speech at her alma mater, Helena High School, in Helena, Montana.
